Want to learn how to fly?
ISA is happy to teach you! We have one (soon to be two) CFI-G (Certified Flight Instructor-Glider Rating) flight instructors that will take you up from your first exhilarating flight all the way to your first solo flight!
While flying a glider, you learn the basic principles of flight in its purest form. Without a motor in front of you, it is simply just you, the plane and the sky. You will become a better, safer, pilot faster!
Our trainer is one of the best in the business, a forgiving, easy to fly Schweitzer SGS 2-33 that can take the not so subtle student landings. While you need to be 14 years old to solo, with a CFIG on board you can start your flight lessons if you're old enough to reach the pedals. We have a junior member who has been flying for years now, he started at 11!
After solo, the club has several other higher performance sailplanes you can fly with us as your flying abilities improve.
